Dr Georgina Konrat is a cosmetic doctor practising in Bondi Junction, Sydney. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne (1988). She also holds two degrees from the University of Sydney: a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours (1989) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (1996).

Dr Georgina Konrat invented and developed the DOVE Surgery Technique for labiaplasty (Double Offset V-Plasty with Extended De-epithelialisation), officially published in the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine in 2012. The DOVE Surgery Technique uses superficial dissection within the outer tissue layers and places the closure within the body of the labia rather than at the visible edge. These are operative design features; they do not demonstrate preservation of blood supply, nerves or sensation, or predict scarring, healing or another outcome.

The DOVE Surgery Technique
The DOVE Surgery Technique is Dr Konrat’s published approach to labiaplasty. She developed it through her clinical experience. The technique addresses both functional and anatomical considerations.

Qualifications and Registration
All surgical procedures carry risks including bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, and altered sensation. Individual results may vary. After the two required consultations and informed consent, a minimum seven-day cooling-off period applies before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
