What happens at your consultation
The initial consultation takes 45 to 60 minutes. Dr Konrat reviews your GP referral and medical history, listens to what has prompted you to consider labiaplasty, and explains the relevant anatomy, the surgical options, and the DOVE Surgery Technique she developed and published. A clinical examination is offered if and when you are comfortable. There is no pressure to make a decision.
A second consultation is required before any procedure can be scheduled. It confirms the surgical plan, provides your written fee estimate, and begins the mandatory 7-day cooling-off period. At least one of the two consultations must be in person; the other can be by telehealth, which is how many interstate patients structure their visit. The labiaplasty cost page explains how fees work.
Before you book
You will need a GP referral before your first appointment, and you must be 18 or over. If you are still researching, the Labiaplasty Information Guide and the FAQ answer the most common questions about the procedure, recovery, and the consultation process.

All surgical procedures carry risks including bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, and altered sensation. Individual results may vary. A 7-day cooling-off period applies before any procedure can be scheduled. A consultation is required to assess suitability. Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor (MBBS, FACCSM), not a registered specialist plastic surgeon under AHPRA's specialist register.
