In short
The total surgical fee for labiaplasty in Sydney is quoted in writing at your second consultation and includes the practitioner, anaesthetist, accredited facility, and follow-up care. The Labiaplasty Information Guide covers indicative pricing, the DOVE Surgery Technique, recovery, and what to expect — download it below.
The exact cost of labiaplasty in Sydney depends on the complexity of the procedure, anaesthesia requirements, and individual clinical needs. All fees are discussed in detail during your consultation.
What’s Included in the Surgical Fee
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure, and the total cost reflects the clinical care, facility, and anaesthesia involved. Your quote will be itemised so you understand exactly what you are paying for.
The surgical fee typically covers:
- Pre-operative consultation and clinical assessment
- The surgical procedure (including the DOVE Surgery Technique where applicable)
- Anaesthesia and sedation fees
- Use of an accredited surgical facility
- Post-operative follow-up appointments
- Post-operative care instructions and support
Factors That Influence Cost
Every patient has different anatomy and different goals, so the cost of labiaplasty can vary. Factors that may affect your individual quote include:
- The complexity of the procedure required
- Whether a revision procedure is needed
- The type of anaesthesia recommended
- Whether additional procedures are performed at the same time (e.g. mons pubis liposuction)
Dr Konrat will provide you with a detailed, personalised quote after your consultation so there are no unexpected costs.

Book a ConsultationMedicare and Private Health Insurance
Labiaplasty performed for cosmetic reasons is not covered by Medicare and does not attract a Medicare rebate. This is consistent across Australia and is not specific to this practice.
MBS item 35533 exists for labiaplasty performed for documented functional reasons, where strict clinical criteria are met. The determination of whether a patient’s case meets these criteria is a clinical matter that typically involves the patient’s GP, who makes the referral. Patients should not assume a Medicare rebate will apply and should discuss the question with their GP before booking.
Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor (MBBS, FACCSM) and does not hold specialist registration under AHPRA’s specialist register. Her registration can be verified on the public AHPRA register (registration MED0001407863). She does not have a Medicare provider arrangement for cosmetic labiaplasty — procedures at Bondi Junction are performed on a private fee basis. If a patient’s case specifically meets functional criteria under MBS 35533, they should discuss eligibility with their GP and consider a referral appropriate to that pathway.
Labiaplasty Sydney is not associated with any private health insurance fund. The practice operates on a private fee basis. In the small number of cases where labiaplasty is performed for documented functional reasons, some private health funds may contribute toward a portion of the hospital facility fee. This varies significantly between funds and individual policies. Patients in this situation should contact their health fund directly to understand what, if anything, is covered before assuming any level of support.
Payment Information
Labiaplasty Sydney does not offer payment plans or in-house financing. The full surgical fee is paid directly to the practice ahead of the procedure date.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards
- Bank transfer
Third-party providers offer loans for cosmetic procedures, which can be researched independently via Google and are arranged directly between the patient and the loan provider. We recommend patients are in sound financial standing before proceeding with any elective procedure. See our payment information page for full detail.
A deposit is required to secure your surgical date. Full payment details and deposit requirements are outlined in your quote at the second consultation.
Your Consultation
The consultation is your opportunity to discuss your concerns, understand the procedure, and receive a personalised quote. Dr Konrat will take the time to explain every aspect of the treatment and answer any questions you may have about costs, the surgical process, and recovery. See our FAQ page for detailed answers to common questions.
A 7-day cooling-off period applies after your consultation before any procedure can be scheduled. This is a regulatory requirement and ensures you have adequate time to consider your decision.
