Labiaplasty Sydney does not offer payment plans or in-house financing. This page covers how the surgical fee is structured, deposit arrangements, Medicare, and the options available to patients who wish to finance the procedure through a third party.
Labiaplasty Sydney Does Not Offer Payment Plans
Labiaplasty Sydney does not offer payment plans, in-house financing, or instalment arrangements. The full surgical fee is paid directly to the practice ahead of the procedure date.
Third-party providers offer loans for cosmetic procedures. These can be researched independently via Google and are arranged directly between the patient and the loan provider. The practice does not recommend any particular provider.
We recommend patients are in sound financial standing before proceeding with any elective procedure. Labiaplasty is an elective cosmetic procedure, not an urgent medical intervention — there is no time pressure, and the decision benefits from being made without financial stress.
How the Fee Is Structured
At your second consultation, Dr Konrat provides a personalised written quote that covers:
- Pre-operative clinical assessment
- The surgical procedure, including the DOVE Surgery Technique where applicable
- Anaesthesia and sedation
- Use of an accredited surgical facility
- All post-operative follow-up appointments
- Aftercare instructions and ongoing support
The initial consultation fee is $165, which is credited toward the surgical fee if you proceed with the procedure. A deposit is required to secure the surgical date, with the balance due ahead of the procedure.
Medicare and Health Insurance
Labiaplasty performed for cosmetic reasons is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance. Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor, and procedures through her practice are on a private fee basis. This means the full cost is paid by the patient.
Medicare item numbers for labiaplasty (MBS item 35533) apply only when strict functional criteria are documented. Your GP can advise whether you may qualify. For more detail on what affects pricing, see our labiaplasty costs page.
Next Steps
The first step is to book a consultation with Dr Konrat. During the consultation, you receive a detailed clinical assessment, learn about the procedure and technique, review the risks, and — at the second consultation — receive your personalised quote.
A mandatory 7-day cooling-off period applies after your second consultation before any cosmetic procedure can be scheduled. This gives time to review all information — including costs — without pressure.
Payment & Cost Questions
All surgical procedures carry risks including bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, and altered sensation. Individual results may vary. A 7-day cooling-off period applies before any procedure can be scheduled. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
