Payment Information

Dr Georgina Konrat (MBBS, FACCSM) — Bondi Junction, Sydney

Last updated:

Labiaplasty Sydney does not offer payment plans or in-house financing. This page covers how the surgical fee is structured, deposit arrangements, Medicare, and the options available to patients who wish to finance the procedure through a third party.

Labiaplasty is elective cosmetic surgery. We recommend that you are in a comfortable financial position before deciding to proceed, and that the cost is considered alongside the clinical information discussed at your consultations rather than on its own. Taking on debt to fund an elective procedure is a decision to weigh carefully, and there is no clinical need to proceed on any particular timeline.

Labiaplasty Sydney Does Not Offer Payment Plans

Labiaplasty Sydney does not offer payment plans, in-house financing, or instalment arrangements. The full surgical fee is paid directly to the practice ahead of the procedure date.

The practice does not arrange or recommend third-party finance. A patient considering independent borrowing should review the provider's terms, fees and affordability without pressure. Labiaplasty is elective; there is no clinical need to proceed on a particular financial timeline.

How the Fee Is Structured

At your second consultation, Dr Konrat provides a personalised written quote that covers:

  • Pre-operative clinical assessment
  • The surgical procedure, including the DOVE Surgery Technique where applicable
  • Anaesthesia and sedation
  • Use of an accredited surgical facility
  • All post-operative follow-up appointments
  • Aftercare instructions and ongoing support

The consultation fee of $165 covers the two consultations required before any procedure, plus any further pre-surgery appointments. The surgical fee is separate. A deposit is required to secure the surgical date, with the balance due ahead of the procedure.

Medicare and Health Insurance

Labiaplasty performed for cosmetic reasons is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance. Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor, and procedures through her practice are on a private fee basis. This means the full cost is paid by the patient.

Medicare and private health insurance rebates do not apply to procedures performed at this practice. MBS item 35533 may apply through a different Medicare-billing practitioner pathway when documented clinical criteria are met. Patients considering that pathway should discuss it with their GP. For more detail on what affects pricing, see our labiaplasty costs page.

Next Steps

The first step is to book a consultation with Dr Konrat. During the consultation, you receive a detailed clinical assessment, learn about the procedure and technique, review the risks, and — at the second consultation — receive your personalised quote.

After the two required consultations and informed consent, a minimum seven-day cooling-off period applies before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid. This gives time to review all information, including costs — without pressure.
