Book a time
Choose a time on the calendar. You don’t need a referral to book.
- Before your first visit
Get a GP referral
Ask your usual GP, or use an online GP service. Bring the referral to your first appointment, with a list of your medications, supplements and any health conditions.
Medicare and private health insurance rebates do not apply to treatment at this practice.
- 2 visits or more
Meet with Dr Konrat
You’ll see Dr Konrat at least twice before any surgery. At least one visit is in person. The other can be a video call. She’ll explain the procedure, its risks and your other options, including not having surgery. At the second visit you’ll get a written fee estimate.
The consultation fee is $165. It covers your initial consultation and any further consultations required before surgery. It is not credited toward the cost of surgery.

Take time to think it over
Once you’ve had your second visit and signed the consent forms, you have at least seven days to think it over before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid. You can ask more questions or change your mind. There’s no pressure either way.
If you decide to go ahead and Dr Konrat agrees surgery is suitable for you, we’ll book it at a time that suits you.
All surgical procedures carry risks including bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, and altered sensation. Individual results may vary. After the two required consultations and informed consent, a minimum seven-day cooling-off period applies before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
