In short
Dr Konrat’s surgical fee is quoted in writing at your second consultation and includes the practitioner, anaesthetist, accredited facility, and follow-up care. The Labiaplasty Information Guide covers indicative pricing, the DOVE Surgery Technique, recovery, and how interstate patients from Adelaide typically organise their care — download it below.
A practical cost guide for women in Adelaide and South Australia researching labiaplasty in Sydney. Adelaide–Sydney flights are roughly 2 hours and operate hourly across the business day on Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar.
What’s Included in the Fee
The fee structure for Adelaide patients is the same as for local Sydney patients — a $165 initial consultation, then a single all-inclusive surgical fee covering:
- Pre-operative consultation and clinical assessment
- The surgical procedure (including the DOVE Surgery Technique where applicable)
- Anaesthesia and sedation fees
- Use of an accredited surgical facility in Sydney
- Post-operative follow-up appointments
- Care instructions and clinical support (in person or by telehealth after you return home)
Travel and accommodation costs are separate and depend on how you choose to organise your trip. The Adelaide patients guide covers flights, where to stay, and timing options in detail.

Book a ConsultationMedicare and Private Health Insurance for Adelaide Patients
Medicare rules are federal— they don’t change between states. Labiaplasty performed for cosmetic reasons is not covered by Medicare, regardless of whether the patient lives in Adelaide, Sydney, or elsewhere in Australia.
MBS item 35533 exists for labiaplasty performed for documented functional reasons under strict clinical criteria. Adelaide patients who think their case may meet these criteria should discuss eligibility with their South Australia GP before booking.
Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor(MBBS, FACCSM) and does not hold specialist registration under AHPRA’s specialist register (registration MED0001407863, verifiable on the public AHPRA register). She does not have a Medicare provider arrangement for cosmetic labiaplasty — procedures at Bondi Junction are performed on a private fee basis.
Private health insurance generally does not contribute toward cosmetic labiaplasty. In documented functional cases, some funds may cover a portion of the hospital facility fee. Adelaide patients should contact their fund directly before booking.
Travel Logistics for Adelaide Patients
Most Adelaide patients organise their trip to Sydney in one of two ways:
- Two shorter trips: one trip for the in-person consultation, then a second trip at least 7 days later for the procedure. This works well if you have flexible flights or are comfortable making the trip twice.
- One extended trip: consultation at the start of the trip, cooling-off period spent in Sydney, then surgery at the end. This works better for Adelaide patients combining the trip with other plans, or those who prefer not to travel twice.
Detail on flights, accommodation near the practice, recovery timing, and when Adelaide patients can typically fly home after surgery is on the Adelaide patients page.
All surgical procedures carry risks including bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, and altered sensation. Individual results may vary. A 7-day cooling-off period applies before any procedure can be scheduled. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
