What’s Included in the Fee
The fee structure for Brisbane patients is the same as for local Sydney patients — a $165 initial consultation, then a single all-inclusive surgical fee covering:
- Pre-operative consultation and clinical assessment
- The surgical procedure (including the DOVE Surgery Technique where applicable)
- Anaesthesia and sedation fees
- Use of an accredited surgical facility in Sydney
- Post-operative follow-up appointments
- Care instructions and clinical support (in person or by telehealth after you return home)

Medicare rules are federal— they don’t change between states. Labiaplasty performed for cosmetic reasons is not covered by Medicare, regardless of whether the patient lives in Brisbane, Sydney, or elsewhere in Australia.
MBS item 35533 exists for labiaplasty performed for documented functional reasons under strict clinical criteria. Brisbane patients who think their case may meet these criteria should discuss eligibility with their Queensland GP before booking.
Dr Konrat is a cosmetic doctor(MBBS, FACCSM) and does not hold specialist registration under AHPRA’s specialist register (registration MED0001407863, verifiable on the public AHPRA register). She does not have a Medicare provider arrangement for cosmetic labiaplasty — procedures at Bondi Junction are performed on a private fee basis.
Private health insurance generally does not contribute toward cosmetic labiaplasty. In documented functional cases, some funds may cover a portion of the hospital facility fee. Brisbane patients should contact their fund directly before booking.
Travel Logistics for Brisbane Patients
Most Brisbane patients organise their trip to Sydney in one of two ways:
- Two shorter trips: one trip for the in-person consultation, then a second trip at least 7 days later for the procedure. This works well if you have flexible flights or are comfortable making the trip twice.
