Meet Our Team

Our approach is grounded in empathy, education, and honest communication - values that shape every step of care, from consultation to recovery.

Dr Georgina Konrat

For more than twenty years, Dr Georgina Konrat has focused on women’s health and intimate surgery. She developed the DOVE labiaplasty surgery in 2005, published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. The DOVE surgical approach works within surface tissue layers.

After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Dr Konrat completed general surgical training and went on to become a Surgical Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (FACCSM) in 2007.

Her early years as an obstetrics and gynaecology registrar sparked her deep understanding of women’s anatomy and post-birth tissue repair - experience that became the foundation for her innovative approach to labiaplasty.

Today, she performs labiaplasty, revision labiaplasty, mons pubis liposuction, reconstructive labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction, and related procedures for women across Sydney. Her goal is to combine surgical practice with compassionate, transparent care - helping patients feel informed, respected, and at ease throughout their journey.

Outside the clinic, Dr Konrat loves her garden, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grand fur-baby (who often steals the spotlight).

Consultation Process

Initial consultations are conducted at Dr Konrat's Bondi Junction rooms by referral from your GP. AHPRA regulations require two consultations before cosmetic surgery can proceed.

At least one consultation must be conducted in person. The second consultation may be conducted via telehealth if appropriate. Following the second consultation, a mandatory seven-day cooling-off period applies before surgery can be scheduled.

During consultation, Dr Konrat discusses surgical options, associated risks and complications, recovery requirements, and suitability for surgery. Individual circumstances and anatomy are assessed to determine whether surgery is appropriate.

Cost information is provided during consultation based on individual surgical requirements. Cosmetic labiaplasty surgery is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance. Learn more about labiaplasty cost in Sydney.

Before proceeding with any cosmetic surgical procedure, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner, such as a GP.
