Dr Konrat developed the DOVE labiaplasty in 2005 after seeing that traditional methods often had complications and poor functional and aesthetic outcomes. DOVE stands for Double Offset V-Plasty with Extended De-epithelialisation
In plain terms, it's a labiaplasty method that reshapes and reduces and reconstructs tissue while keeping as much healthy structure as possible intact.
By working within the upper tissue layers instead of cutting through them, the DOVE Labiaplasty surgery aims to maintain blood supply, protect nerves, and reduce visible scarring.

With more than twenty years' experience in women's health and intimate surgery, Dr Konrat is known for her calm approach and her genuine focus on patient comfort.
She developed the DOVE labiaplasty surgery in 2005, a risk-reduction approach to labiaplasty, and formally published her work in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal in 2012.
Today, every DOVE procedure is performed personally by Dr Konrat and her all-female team at Double Bay Day Hospital, an accredited Sydney facility.
