Dr Georgina Konrat · MBBS, FACCSM
Labiaplasty in Sydney
Dr Georgina Konrat invented and developed the DOVE Surgery Technique for labiaplasty (Double Offset V-Plasty with Extended De-epithelialisation), officially published in the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine in 2012. The practice has an all-female clinical team. A consultation is required to assess suitability and the anaesthetic options for the individual procedure.
- The DOVE Surgery Technique is performed exclusively by Dr Konrat
- All-female clinical team, in Bondi Junction
- Local anaesthetic option, as day surgery
Consultation fee $165, covering the two required consultations and any further pre-surgery appointments. A GP referral is required for the first consultation and may be brought or supplied at the appointment; it is not required before booking, but the consultation cannot proceed without it. Patients must be 18 or over.

About the practice
Dr Georgina Konrat (MBBS, FACCSM) has practised since 1997. Her Bondi Junction practice provides labiaplasty, revision labiaplasty and mons pubis liposuction, and she performs every consultation and procedure herself. Patients can compare the proposed procedure, risks, fees, follow-up and emergency arrangements when deciding where to seek care.
The DOVE Surgery Technique
The DOVE Surgery Technique uses superficial dissection within the outer tissue layers and places the closure within the body of the labia rather than at the visible edge. These are operative design features and do not demonstrate preservation of blood supply, nerves or sensation, or predict scarring, healing or another outcome. The operative plan can consider the tissue edge and colour distribution, but it does not predict the post-operative appearance. Each procedure is planned individually, and labiaplasty is not suitable for everyone. You can read more on the DOVE Surgery Technique page and the clinical evidence behind it.
An all-female team, in the eastern suburbs
The practice is supported by an all-female clinical team who assist during consultations, the procedure, and recovery. It sits in Bondi Junction, a short walk from Bondi Junction station and the Westfield car park. Patients travelling from elsewhere in NSW or interstate can use the travelling-to-Sydney guide for practical planning information.
Local anaesthetic, as day surgery
Labiaplasty is performed as a day procedure, typically taking 60 to 90 minutes under local anaesthetic with oral sedation, or general anaesthetic where clinically indicated. Patients arrive in the morning and are discharged the same day with a support person to drive them home. Most return to a desk-based job within seven to ten days. The recovery page walks through the timeline week by week, and the anaesthesia options page compares the approaches.

What it costs and how to start
The consultation fee is $165. This covers the two consultations required before any procedure can be scheduled, plus any further pre-surgery appointments you may need. At least one consultation is in person, and a GP referral is needed for the first appointment. After the two consultations and informed consent, a minimum seven-day cooling-off period applies before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid. The surgical fee is separate and is quoted in writing at your second consultation, covering the practitioner, anaesthetist, accredited facility, and follow-up care as a complete package. The labiaplasty cost page explains how fees work and what is included.
